ABOUT US
Our Mission
At The Big Brother Project, our mission is to empower boys to reach their full potential by providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and positive male role models. We are dedicated to strengthening the bond between single moms and their sons through our educational programs and mentorship initiatives.
About the founder

Jaylen Milton-Cofied is the founder of The Big Brother Project. He was raised by a single-mother which created a passion towards supporting single-mothers and boys being raised by single mothers. Jaylen is studying psychology at Saginaw Valley State University. Jaylen is also a public speaker, mentor, former podcast host, and an amateur boxer. Jaylen is a 1x National Champion, 1x Eastern Michigan Regional Golden Gloves Champion, and the 2024 Michigan State Golden Gloves runner-up.
At 20 years old, Jaylen started this organization in order to help other young boys find purpose and value within themselves! Jaylen didn't always have an ambition to succeed, it took him a while to recognize the potential he had. Now, he aims to help boys all over the United States cultivate their potential and teach them the lessons that helped him recognize his potential!
